Clear Vision, Bright Minds: Book Aid Asia & WVO Partner for Eye Checks at SMK Bandar Enstek!

Great news for students at SMK Bandar Enstek! On March 20th, 2024, our partners World Vision Optics (WVO) conducted a free eye check program for a whopping 670 students!

This free, computerized eye check is a game-changer. Early detection of vision problems is crucial for students' success in secondary education. Uncorrected vision can make it difficult to focus in class and absorb information.

A big shoutout to the WVO team for their initiative! Thanks to their expertise and advanced technology, the program was completed in just one day. Even better, WVO provided 10 underprivileged students with free eyeglasses.

At Book Aid Asia, we share WVO's concern about childhood vision problems. Uncorrected vision can be a major barrier to reading, which is fundamental for opening young minds and building confidence.

We're excited to be working with SMK Bandar Enstek in the near future through our Book Advocacy for Children's Achievement (BACA) program. By ensuring clear vision and access to books, we can empower students to achieve their full potential!
