Speaking at the event, Book Aid Malaysia founder Encik Abu Hassan Ahmad encouraged students to cultivate a strong reading habit and make full use of the donated books to improve their command of the English language. He expressed hope that regular reading would help students gain greater confidence in speaking and communicating in English.
He also highlighted the importance of mastering English at an early age, noting that the language remains widely used in global trade, commerce, and international communication. According to him, proficiency in English would provide students with broader opportunities for future education and career development.
The donation programme reflected Book Aid Malaysia’s continued commitment to supporting schools and empowering young Malaysians through access to reading materials and educational resources.
